Grovedale Youth Space

This program provides opportunities for young people to organise events and get involved in making decisions about things that are important to them in their community.

The program includes young people aged 12-25 that live, work or play in the suburbs that fall within the 3216 and 3217 area, and involves a number of activities and programs.

Grovedale Drop In

Drop In happens every week of school term at the Grovedale Neighbourhood Hub.

Come down, hang out and enjoy some of the activities offered including:

  • Table Tennis
  • Cooking
  • Art Activities
  • Video and Board Games
  • Free Food!

No need to book, just come along. (Permission forms are given out, and will need to be filled in and returned yearly)

There will also be sessions run each week alongside Drop in such as cooking and art classes. Limited places available and first in basis.

Waurn Ponds Skate Park

Young people utilising the Waurn Ponds Skate Park are encouraged to discuss activities and events for skaters, BMX and scooters at the Waurn Ponds Skate Park.

Skaters BMXers, scooters and other young people are supported to host events and competitions, assist in the up keep of the skate park and provide feedback for potential upgrades and improvements within the area.
