There are more than 70 Honourary Staff (volunteers) at the National Wool Museum.
'The Hons' share their diverse personal stories and specialties. Many with a background on the land, in the woollen mills or a special interest in wool, tourism or mechanics.
The Hons assist in a variety of ways from welcoming patrons and guiding tours to assisting in the Museum Shop and providing weaving, spinning and knitting demonstrations and preserving our heritage machines and truck.
The Museum is always looking for new volunteers and no special skills are required.
