The City of Greater
Geelong is proud to celebrate award winner Georgia Gordon who took home the
Emerging Leader Award at the Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) Industry
Awards.
Held on Friday 21
June at Centrepiece, Melbourne Park, the awards recognise excellence within the
aquatic and recreation industry, with 25 awards presented out of a competitive
field of 254 nominations.
Georgia has been a
City employee for almost nine years, starting as a lifeguard and is currently
the Aquatic Manager/2IC at the Norlane ARC and Lara Swimming Pool.

Geelong was well-represented with 10 nominees, showcasing the City's commitment
to excellence in aquatics and recreation.

recreation industry in Victoria, that highlight the remarkable efforts and achievements
within the industry.
