Our new road safety strategy outlines an ambitious vision of no deaths and serious injuries on Greater Geelong roads by 2050. Council’s approach is in line with the Victorian Road Safety Strategy 2021-2030.
The state strategy also has a desired first step of halving road deaths and reducing serious injuries by 2030.
We recognises the importance of road safety and its significant impact on families and the broader community and we'll help reduce the incidence and severity of road crashes and associated road trauma.
