Service standards
We use street sweepers to clean kerb and channel (street gutters) across Greater Geelong. City-owned streets are swept 5-6 times per year, on a regular cycle.
Outside the sweeping cycle, streets will only be attended for hazards or emergencies (e.g. spills, accidents, etc.). Normal road debris (e.g. stones, gravel, etc.) and leaf litter are not considered a hazard or emergency.
To request street sweeping you will need to:
- Describe the street sweeping issue.
- Provide the location - you may prefer to select the address by dragging the map marker.
- Attach an image.
