Excess green waste can be dropped off for a fee at Drysdale Resource Recovery Centre or Green Care Mulching.

Food waste requires specialised facilities and EPA licenses to process. At this stage there are no facilities in the Geelong area with the capacity to take all of Geelong’s garden and food organics.

Excess soil, potting mix or dirt may also be of use to members of your local community. Try offering through online groups or ask at your local neighbourhood house or shed.
