Apply for a planning permit extension of time

If a planning permit has been issued and is either:

• due to expire in the next 3 months or
• has expired less than 6 months from the expiration date (for commencement) or 12 months (for completion)

you can make application to extend your permit (note that you need to meet the current planning scheme requirements if they have changed since your permit was approved - for example: garden area)

To help us when considering your request, you need to: 

1. download the planning permit extension of time application form
   
   
2. submit with the appropriate fee either:
• in person at any of our Customer Service Centres or
