Planning Permit Checklist - Heritage Area Vehicle Crossing

Please use this checklist when submitting an application to construct a vehicle crossing in a Heritage Area.

When applying to construct a vehicle crossing at your Heritage Property, you should ensure that you include:

  An Application form fully completed and signed.
  A full current copy of Title for the land, including current ownership details, title plan and a full copy of any registered covenants, restrictions or Section 173 Agreements that apply to the land. (the Copy of Title must be clearly legible and no older than 60 days.) You should contact the Victorian Land Titles Office to obtain a copy.
  The prescribed application fee.

In addition to the information required above for all planning applications, the following should be provided:

  Electronic copies of an existing site layout plan drawn at a scale of 1:100 or 1:200 which includes, as appropriate:
    the boundaries and dimensions of the site.
  Relevant ground levels of the site.
  the location of any existing buildings and works.
  the location of any existing vegetation or landscaping within the site.
  Street furniture including power poles, fire hydrants/plugs etc.
  Electronic copies of a proposed site layout plan drawn at a scale of 1:100 or 1:200 which includes, as appropriate:
    the boundaries and dimensions of the site.
    Adjoining roads and proposed vehicle access points (show dimensions)..
    Relevant ground levels of the site.
    the location of any existing buildings and works.
    the location of any existing vegetation or landscaping within the site.
    Street furniture including power poles, fire hydrants/plugs etc.
  Photos of the surrounding area to show the character of the area and whether crossovers are common place within the nearby area.
