Masterclass: An Introduction to Portraiture

Join Geelong based photographer Nicole Marie (Women in Wool project) for a hands-on beginner’s photography masterclass at the National Wool Museum, with a focus on portraiture.

This workshop with help you develop your skills as a portrait photographer, by introducing you to some practical techniques such as engaging with the subject, posing considerations and working with natural light, to create more engaging portraiture.

Participants are required to bring their own camera or photographic device. 

Suitable for beginners and intermediate participants aged 16+.

About the Women in Wool project:

The National Wool Museum is proud to be a supporting organisation of the Invisible Farmer Project – the largest ever study of Australian women on the land. Local photographer, Nicole Marie has spent months on the road photographing and documenting the stories of Australian female farmers – for a new installation to be housed at the National Wool Museum from 8 March 2019.
