The Masterclass Series - Scarf Festival 2018

Discover or refine your creative skills with a series of exclusive NWM Masterclasses. Leading artists Heather Frizzell, Jo Bagge and Nichola Prested will be exploring Scarf Festival 2018’s theme “Living On The Land”, with participants creating a unique range of arts and crafts.  All materials are included.

Masterclasses are suitable for beginner and intermediate level creators aged 15+. Bookings are essential. Only 6-10 places available.



Saturday 23 June 9:30am - 12:00pm Multi award winning fibre artist Heather Frizzell shares her expertise in needle felting and takes you through the realisation of your very own 3D fish! Cost $45 ($40 NWM Members)

Wednesday 4 July 2:00pm - 4:00pm Wool for your wall art! Paint with wool and use a variety of different fibres to make a small textile piece inspired by the country, to hang on a wall at home. With Jo Bagge from Knitonefelttwo. Cost $40 ($35 NWM Members)

Wednesday 11 July 2:00pm - 4:00pm Realise a 2D Fish and learn specialised needle felting techniques in this not to be missed masterclass led by Heather Frizzell. Cost $40 ($35 NWM Members)

Wednesday 18 July 10:00am - 4:00pm Join Seddon based artist Nichola Prested from Handmaker’s Factory for eco dying and eco printing! Learn how to create fabric dye naturally (from start to finish) using local plants during the morning. Bring or buy your lunch and stay for the afternoon to print your own art with eco ink. Cost $90 ($90 NWM Members)
