On the Land: Our Story Retold

On the Land: Our Story Retold is a multi award winning exhibition which tells the Australian wool story for the modern-day visitor.

On the Land: Our Story Retold is about the past, present and future of Australian wool. It is about people and places and the history of the land.

Experience stories, traditional language and art with the Wadawurrung Country exhibit, created by Wadawurrung woman Corrina Eccles, elder Bryon Powell with contributions from Wadawurrung artist Deanne Gilson.

Learn about modern day farmers and innovations in the industry by exploring the Museum's extensive object collection. Explore the tools of the trade from the early nineteenth century to modern innovations.

Our favourite displays have had a makeover and you can still experience the re-created shearer shack and meet the National Wool Museum sheep.
