Greater Geelong Mayor Stretch
Kontelj OAM:
Small businesses are
at the heart of our economy and our community.
They are vital to
achieving our vision for a clever and creative future for the Greater Geelong
region, and Council is committed to helping local businesses not only get
started but to grow and thrive as well.
Geelong Chamber chief
executive Jeremy Crawford:
Greater Geelong is
home to more than 22,200 small businesses, making up approximately 97 per cent
of all businesses in the region.
Collectively, these
enterprises are estimated to generate around $10 billion in annual revenue,
demonstrating the crucial role small business plays in driving our regional
economy.
The festival is a
wonderful way to help these businesses network and grow, while showcasing their
own work to a broader market.
The festival will
feature a wide range of events, workshops, and networking opportunities
designed to support and empower local business owners, entrepreneurs and
professionals.
To register interest in
hosting an event, visit the festival website from 9:00am on Monday 5
