Possible delay to bin collections this week

Monday, 2 September 2024

For safety reasons, our provider did not collect bins on Monday 2 September during the extreme weather conditions.

As a result, kerbside bin collections across Greater Geelong may be delayed for the rest of this week as our provider catches up.

Please put your bins out for collection on the usual scheduled day.

If your bin is not collected as normal, please leave it out and it will be collected the following day.

For example, scheduled Tuesday collections will take place partly on Tuesday, with the remainder on Wednesday.

This will continue for the rest of the week, with scheduled Friday collections completed by Saturday.

Our provider will then return to the standard schedule next week.

Thank you for your understanding as this catch-up takes place.
