Greater Geelong Mayor Stephanie Asher

We thank the community for their efforts in continuing to recycle over the past five months by taking their materials to the resource recovery centres. The return of the yellow bin recycling service from Monday is welcome news for us all, and we’re now hoping everyone will quickly get back into the habit of sorting the correct materials into the yellow bin.
There are some changes to what can be put in and what can’t, so please help us achieve the highest possible recycling rate by checking the list and following it closely. One incorrect item in a yellow bin can unfortunately mean the entire contents are unable to be recycled.
