Electric Vehicles Conference - The Time is Right

Electric vehicles charged their way into Geelong on 29 March 2017 as the City of Greater Geelong, Geelong Manufacturing Council and State Government hosted an electric vehicles conference.

The event was aimed at the general public, businesses, G21 local government authorities and Deakin University researchers and engineers to inspire more uptake of electric vehicles.

The conference attracted 150 attendees and showcased a range of electric vehicles including cars, buses and trucks, as well as some of the technologies used in electric vehicles.

BMW, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Tesla, Toyota, Deakin/CSIRO battery technology, JetCharge electric vehicle charging station and AVASS electric bus.
