Inner City
Housing within Central Geelong itself is continuing to expand rapidly, but it is not the only metropolitan option. Geelong West’s Pakington Street is buzzing with cafes, fine dining, bars, and boutique shopping. Pako, as it’s known by locals, is a 5 minute drive to the city.
Coastal
Geelong has a huge variety of beaches to enjoy. You might like surf beaches such as Point Lonsdale, Thirteenth Beach or Ocean Grove. Maybe a beach on the Bellarine Peninsula is more to your liking: Portarlington, Indented Head, St Leonards or even Clifton Springs provide family friendly conditions. Geelong itself has Eastern and Western Beach, Rippleside or venture further around our coastline to Avalon or Point Wilson. You can be sure to find a beach to suit.
Suburban
There is fantastic diversity between suburbs in Geelong, again making the choice a little more difficult to make! Drumcondra, Highton and Wandana Heights offer wide, treed streets while Bell Post Hill and Corio have great access to Melbourne and the new growth suburbs of Armstrong Creek and Charlemont to the south are booming.
Rural
On the outskirts on Geelong you have some great options for the rural lifestyle. Batesford, and Anakie to the North and Drysdale and Wallington on the Bellarine Penninsula are a must see. These areas are scattered with farming communities and offer the largest land sizes in the Geelong region.
