Councillor Stephanie Asher - Mayor

This year’s Community Focus council meetings have been enjoyable and informative, so we’re pleased to lock in another eight for 2020.

These meetings give councillors a better handle on certain local issues by chatting with community members, whilst also making council decisions more accessible and transparent for residents.

Councillor Kylie Grzybek - Deputy Mayor and Deputy Chair, Leadership and Governance portfolio

Council is looking forward to meeting residents out in the community in 2020, after a successful year of interactions and meetings in 2019.

The Community Focus council meetings provide opportunities to get closer to the community while at the same time offering convenient locations for residents. These special meetings improve transparency in decision making, so it’s really important we continue them.
