Family and Community Support.

Focus area: To advocate for and support initiatives that focus on equality and improved economic, social and cultural outcomes and greater access to Council services for Aboriginal people.

Support stronger connections between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people.

  • Maintain partnership opportunities with National Cannabis Prevention Information Centre (NCPIC).
  • Co-ordinate activities of Stage 2 – Cannibas Not Our Culture. Beyond Smoke and Mirrors.
  • Explore opportunities for community education initiatives such as participation in Drug Action Week.
