International Day of People with Disability (IDPWD)

Each year, the City proudly celebrates International Day of People with Disability.

It is celebrated by hundreds of cities across the world as a way to acknowledge people with a lived experience of disability and to promote an inclusive culture for everyone.

This is a great opportunity for organisations, individuals and local government to celebrate abilities, help break down barriers and acknowledge our city’s clever, creative and diverse community.

An extensive range of free and fun events take place across Greater Geelong and the Barwon Region from late November to early December.

All activities are accessible and family friendly and everyone is welcome.
