Grants and funding

The Community Investment and Support Fund (CISF) incorporates a variety of grant programs for groups and organisations to undertake projects that benefit the local community.

his will help achieve the Greater Geelong region’s 30-year community led vision for a Clever and Creative Future.

The Clever and Creative Future vision is about developing a consistent approach to get things done and collaborating to create opportunities that address our challenges. This approach will assist in achieving the elements of a successful community.

Community groups and organisations across Greater Geelong will have a chance to apply for a share in more than $4.33 million in funding after the Council approved an expanded 2020-21 Community Grants program.

Applications for the following grants will open on 17 July 2020:
[New] COVID-19 Quick Response Community grants of up to $2,000
[New] Arts, Culture and Heritage Recovery, up to $5,000
Community Infrastructure, up to $350,000
Central Geelong Heritage, up to $70,000
Community Events, up to $10,000
Healthy and Connected Communities -  Community Projects, up to $10,000
Healthy and Connected Communities - Equipment purchases, up to $2,000
Creative Communities - for Arts Projects and Festivals, up to $10,000
Environmental Sustainability, up to $10,000

Please note that the grant guideline documents available on this site are for reference only as they relate to previous grant rounds (with the exception of the  Children's Week program guidelines).   These documents will be updated  in the coming weeks.
