Who can apply?
Applicants wishing to apply for Community Infrastructure Grants who are one of the following application types:
- Not-for-profit, incorporated bodies or registered under company law who operate on public land managed or owned by Council, or Crown land where the management of the facility is community based and there is access for the broader community (herein referred to as public)
- Not-for-profit, incorporated bodies or registered under company law who operate in facilities not located on Council-owned or managed land; or managed or maintained by Council (herein referred to as private) which provide access for the broader community
- Unincorporated bodies with an auspice
- Schools and learning institutions – only for activities that are not curriculum based and the primary benefit is for the wider community
What can you apply for?
Full or partial exemption from match-funding for the Community infrastructure Grants.
Match-funding can be cash or the value of in-kind goods and services or a combination of both.

- Collate your supporting documents.
- Answer the questions in the application form.
- Don't forget to hit the submit button.
We recommend you click Save Progress every 10 to 15 minutes when you are filling out a form.
If you leave your computer idle for 20 minutes without saving your work, and then return, the session duration may have ended (or been timed-out).
Applications open/close
This grant is now closed.
Notification of outcomes
We will notify you of the outcome within 2 to 3 weeks of receiving your application.
If you choose to continue with a Community Infrastructure Grant funding application, you must include the outcome of the exemption application with your funding submission.
