Arts Professional Development Grants

A limited amount of funding annually is available for Arts Professional Grants. There is a total grant pool of $220,000 available to cover the four arts grants offered by the City (Arts Project, Festival-Arts, Professional Development and Quick Response).

The purpose of Arts Professional Development Grants is to support local, professional artists, musicians or arts workers, heritage workers and volunteer community arts workers to further develop their creative skills, business skills and professional practice.

Grant amount

Grants of up to $2,500 are available (subject to budget limitations).

Who should apply?

Professional artists, volunteer community arts or heritage workers who reside permanently within the Greater Geelong municipality may apply to finance selected professional and skill development activities including, but not limited to reimbursement of travel costs or registration fees for:

  • cultural conferences
  • programs
  • mentorships or
  • other arts education activities for individuals.

Notification of outcomes
