The Community Events Grant Program aims to support moderate-sized events, which bring economic benefits to the City, enrich the community, celebrate common interests and provide opportunities for local participation.
Applications for the February round will be accepted between 1 February to 2 March 2020.
The program offers up to $20,000 for events in 2020 and multi-year funding is an option..
For the purposes of this funding program, a community event is defined as:
A temporary organised activity, open to the general public, where people gather with a common purpose that aims to enhance community life. The activity is held in open spaces, facilities or venues where there will be more people or a different use of the asset, than usually found at that location.
