The following four grant opportunities are currently available:
- Let’s Stay Connected Fund
The Victorian Government is helping communities to stay connected during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and beyond with the Let’s Stay Connected Fund. The fund provides grants between $5,000 and $200,000 to support community-led initiatives.
The program will support innovative, community-led and community-based initiatives that build connection, reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation and can be implemented quickly – providing much-needed support across the state. It will also support existing initiatives that can be rapidly scaled up to a local, regional or state level – delivering innovative and practical solutions that will benefit communities as soon as possible. Closing date: 31 August 2020.

- Shade Grants Program
The Shade Grants Program (the Program) is administered by the Department of Health and Human Services and the aim of the Program is to reduce Victorians' exposure to UV radiation by increasing shade in public places across the state and by promoting uptake of sun protective practices.
The Program is offered once a year, across two grant categories:
Closing date: 11 September 2020
- School Shade Grants Program
Victorian government schools are eligible to apply for grants of up to $25,000 for shade development and can include up to $700 for sun protection items (excluding GST). Applicants may also request up to $700 for sun protection items only.
- Community Shade Grants Program
Eligible community organisations are eligible to apply for grants of up to $50,000 for shade development and can include up to $700 for sun protection items (including GST). Applicants may also request up to $700 for sun protection items only.
- The Significant Sporting Events Program is a Victorian Government
funding program that assists sporting, community and event organisations to
deliver sporting events in Victoria.
The fund supports events that are national or
international in focus, or have regional significance and are recognised by a
relevant sporting body. Closing date: 30 June 2022
