Who can apply?
- Not-for-profits: incorporated bodies, co-operatives or associations
(e.g., toy libraries, playgroups, community groups, neighbourhood houses).
- Registered charitable
organisations.
- Schools
and Early Years Services (conditions apply, please see guidelines).
What can you apply for?
The week is designed to celebrate and promote the unique contributions that young children make to our community, and focus community attention on the needs and issues associated with early childhood.
You can apply for a variety of events and activities such as yoga, cooking classes, parenting sessions on emotional health, nature-based activities, dance, road safety and so on.
How much can you apply for?
There is a total grant pool of $15,000 available.
Applicants may ask for up to $750 to support community events and activities for children and families within the City of Greater Geelong municipality that take place during Children's Week.
