The Geelong Preventative Health Survey was undertaken in 2017, 2021 and again in 2024. It helps to inform evidence-based planning and decision making across the municipality.

The last survey, in 2021, was heavily influenced by COVID-19, so the 2024 survey provides updated data as well as data for new indicators such as loneliness.

The 2024 GPHS was conducted between August and September 2024, with a random selection of over 2,000 Greater Geelong residents aged over 15 years. ASDF Research, an independent research agency, conducted the survey on behalf of the City.

Additional data is available for a range of indicators not currently on the Geelong Data Exchange Dashboard.  Please submit an online data request.
