Be part of the fun of the Winter Holiday Program at the Geelong Botanic Gardens:

  • Make your own fairy or dragon garden to take home
  • Discover the garden's magic places
  • Have fun with our interactive dragon story
  • Come along in your favourite costume

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Geelong Botanic Gardens - Are the Gardens wheelchair and pram friendly?

Arriving by car

 There is a disabled carpark at the entrance to the gardens on Eastern Park Circuit near the Podbury Drive intersection. There is a ramp to access the main entrance gate.

Garden paths

People in wheelchairs or pushing prams can access some parts of the gardens. Some paths are asphalt and relatively flat.

Other paths are not as accessible as they have steps and gravel surfaces.

Geelong Botanic Gardens - Can I play ball sports or ride bikes or scooters in the Gardens?
Ball sports and riding of bikes, scooters or skateboards are not permitted in the Geelong Botanic Gardens.

These activities are appropriate in surrounding Eastern Park. There are ovals on the south side of the park and roads to ride bikes on.

Geelong Botanic Gardens - Where can I park?
There is parking available near the entrance to the Geelong Botanic Gardens. 

Entrance to carpark is off Eastern Park Circuit near Podbury Drive.  Alternately use one of the carparks in Eastern Park and walk to the gardens.
