ReEnergise Geelong, a community-led transition to 100 percent renewable energy, pioneered Geelong Solar Steps.
Geelong Solar Steps was an online email course that aimed to support the Geelong community to purchase solar energy.
Participants signed up for a two-week online free course which had topics tailored according to their needs.
Upon completion of the course, participants were invited to engage a local solar installer to proceed with a site inspection and quotes.

This project built the capacity of our local community to engage with new energy technologies, and provided residents and commercial business owners with knowledge and information required to:

This project was supported by Cleantech Innovations Geelong to maintain and create jobs and expand business turnover in the region.
Cleantech Innovations Geelong is a partnership between the City of Greater Geelong, the Geelong Manufacturing Council and state government to develop markets for clean tech goods and services.
