We encourage Geelong commercial building owners, managers and/or commercial tenants to sign up to the City Switch Green Office program.
The program, which is free to join, is helping businesses around Australia to:
- Simplify and structure the journey to net zero
- Encourage and engage their teams and executives
- Understand best practice and provide an opportunity to build collective knowledge
- Connect with other businesses of varying sizes, sectors and capabilities
- Be accountable and track their progress
When you join CitySwitch, you gain access to a local program manager and a wide network of other companies also taking steps to improve their sustainability.
Eligibility
Owners, managers and tenants of commercial buildings within our municipal boundaries are eligible to participate.
Your role in the program
Supported by the CitySwitch program manager you will commit and gather information relating to the current business situation relating to energy efficiency and waste.
A plan is then created to identify areas of opportunity for improvement and building a business case.
Connections to potential support and funding will be highlighted and annual evaluation of will tell the story of your success.
The benefits
With the ultimate aim of achieving a 4 star or higher NABERS Energy rating, your commitment will be rewarded with access to education and training via events, toolkits and case studies that will assist in developing a plan to reduce the emissions of your business and building.
