Tools and templates for events and weddings

We have developed a range or tools and templates to assist you in applying for your event.

We have also collated a number of other forms and templates which may be required as part of your event application.

You will be guided through the process by the Events Unit, or you can use the Events Planning Guide to identify which forms or templates may be required to gain approval for your event to be staged in Geelong.

These resources include:

COVID19: With so many people moving and interacting with each other, events can present a high risk related to the transmission of Coronavirus (COVID19).

For this reason all events and weddings should be planned and managed appropriately in line with COVIDSafe principles to reduce the risk and help slow the spread of the virus.

All activities must provide the following to obtain a permit:

  • COVID Safe Plan
  • Risk assessment (COVID principles must be included)

All events and activities must adhere to the requirements described in The State Government Open Premises Directions.

Other permits that may be relevant and required for the processing of your application will be identified and provided to you during the application and approval stage.

More information is available in the Events Planning Guide.
