Geelong Repair Cafe - Highton

These days, we’re quick to throw things out; but often all it takes is a simple repair job.

The Geelong Repair Café - Highton is a free meeting place where anyone can bring their broken items and learn how to fix them with the help of voluntary repairers.

The repairers specialise in fixing all sorts of things, including jewellery, clothing, toys, mechanical and electrical items, wooden goods and other household items.

As well as saving broken items from ending up as landfill, valuable practical knowledge gets passed on.

Anyone can turn up with items that need fixing, or just to have a look and learn how items are repaired.

Geelong Repair Café – Highton are looking for more handy volunteers

The Geelong Repair Café – Highton are looking for volunteers with different skills who can assist with repairs during the Repair Café events.

They are especially looking for people who are handy with jewellery, fixing wooden items or general mechanical repairs.

To find out about becoming a volunteer contact Michelle by email or phone.
