Arts Fundraising Masterclass - Raising Money for your Art

Raising Money for your Art

Please note: the two half day sessions are now being presented as a full day Masterclass
Join us for a free full-day Masterclass to learn the skills required to raise money for your arts organisation, collective or individual art practice.

The workshop is free, but registration is essential

This Masterclass combines Part 1: Setting up your arts group or organisation for financial success (morning session) and Part 2 Approaching fundraising: it's not as scary as you think! (afternoon session).

Supported by the City of Greater Geelong, Creative Australia will deliver this session to equip artists and arts organisations with the skills to garner non-government or private sector financial support.

Building on and re-iterating the Fundamentals of Arts Fundraising workshop presented in 2023 this workshop is designed to further provide you with knowledge, expertise and the confidence to seek financial support from individual donors, Trusts and Foundations and corporate partners.

Steven Richardson, State Manager for Development and Partnerships at Creative Australia delivers interactive and engaging sessions where you will receive useful information on developing a sustainable arts organisation with opportunities to ask questions for personalised advice for your individual situation and needs.

Steven will be joined by the team from the Australian Cultural Fund to explore all your arts fundraising options. Tracy Woolacott and Felicia Jong from the Australian Cultural Fund have helped artists raise millions of dollars through the ACF platform, enabling a wide range of projects to come to life and offering support to Australia’s cultural sector.
