National Highland Cattle Show and Sale

National Highland Cattle Show and Sale is coming to Portarlington, in conjunction with the National Celtic Festival.

This event only comes to Victoria every three years... At great chance to see these beautiful animals.

The 2019 National Highland Cattle Show is the 26th national show for the Highland cattle breed. The show is held on the Queens birthday weekend, alternating between Victoria, South Australia & New South Wales.

It is used as an opportunity to:
1) Judge the best of the Highland breed (cattle from three states make the
2) Gain public exposure to these Scottish cattle.

The Victorian Highland Breeders Group (VHBG), a subgroup of the Australian Highland Cattle Society (AHCS) has organised this event several times previously, but it is an incredible opportunity to have the show in
conjunction with such a major event.
