Volunteers we need you

We are looking for volunteers to be involved with the iconic Ironman 70.3 Geelong event taking place from 24-26 March at Steampacket Gardens, Geelong. It doesn’t matter whether you can help for a couple of hours, a few days, or the entire time, any participation is appreciated!

Be at the heart of the action and help support our incredible athletes to the finish line. Whether you are a local wanting to support your community, an avid triathlete, a veteran volunteer, a student looking to gain experience at a world-class event, or a lover of sport, we would appreciate your help.

If you are part of a community, sporting or social group your time spent volunteering can transfer to a club or charity donation!

What’s on offer:

  • Volunteer t-shirt, hat, refreshments and food.
  • The chance to experience volunteering at a mass participation event.
  • Ability to create donations for your local club of charity of choice.
  • The opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, and create lifelong memories.

Available roles:

  • Helping with event registration.
  • Marshalling spectators around the venue and course
  • Directing athletes on course.
  • Handing out medals as athletes cross the finish line

If you're interested, please reach out to Ellen Adams, who will be able to provide a suitable role for your team and chat to you further regarding group donations for your time.
