environment and spending time outdoors?
If so, you should check out our Nature Stewards program.
Nature Stewards will provide education and hands-on
experience about geology, climate, fungi, plants, water, animals and
conservation land management.
Funded by the City and run by Outdoors Victoria, the program
is best suited to people with little or no formal environmental education, but
who are passionate about our natural assets.
Weekly classes will be held at Leopold Community Hub,
beginning on 18 September.
Several field trips to significant properties and locations
are also on the 10-week itinerary.
The City subsidises the cost of the program for those living
in Greater Geelong, but residents in the wider community are also encouraged to
