An application form needs to be submitted to obtain a Permit to Burn for any burning off.
Please be advised that we are moving towards an online application process for the obtaining of all future permits to burn. Once this transition has occurred your enquiry will be directed to the online application form.
Permits can be applied for outside of the Fire Danger Period, that is: from the end of the Fire Danger Period up until the last week of October.

applicant details and contact information
property where burn-off is proposed including specific details
type of vegetation required to be burnt
estimated times for the burn-off for a single burn
if single or multiple burn-offs are proposed.
Your completed application form must be submitted for consideration with our Fire Prevention Unit either by post, fax or email.
