Izzy Losi started out her journey circa 2005, firstly writing music and forming songs after taking a break from her classical piano roots.
She then realised she needed a voice to go with these pieces of music. She began to grace stages as a 15-year-old singer-songwriter. She played anywhere she could. From local RSL clubs, to local surfcoast pubs.
Fast forward eight years and she has achievements behind her such as being the 2014 Melbourne Live Heat Winner of the Telstra Road to Discovery, appearances at four consecutive Queenscliff Music Festivals (QMF), a Mentee of Aria-Award Winning Monique Brumby, a 2011 QMF Scholarship Recipient, and has shared the stage with the likes of Courtney Barnett, Mia Dyson, HUSKY and Dean Geyer.
Izzy’s song 'A Legacy', written about her late grandmother featured on the October issue of Triple J's JMAG and distrubuted nation wide in 2010, on the female compilation ‘Naked in the Woods 2’.
She joined a number of renowned artists in this project, including Clare Bowditch, The Little Stevies, Courtney Barnett, Deborah Conway and Jess McAvoy. ‘Naked in the Woods 2’ was also featured as ABC National’s Album of the Week.
Now with a new band behind her, Izzy Losi is ready to bring you brand new songs since releasing “Outlast the Storm” in 2012. You are invited to be apart of it.
