Waurn Ponds Memorial Reserve Committee of Management

The Waurn Ponds Memorial Reserve was established in July 1919 with trees planted in memory of the Waurn Ponds and District Servicemen and Servicewomen.

The Waurn Ponds Memorial Reserve Committee Incorporated is a Committee of Management constituted pursuant to section 14 of the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978 (Victoria). Our Memorial Reserve is:

  1. entered on the National Register of War Memorials (Australian War Memorial) as a Registered Place of Pride and
  2. listed by Heritage Council Victoria as Registered Place ID 156781.

The Committee hosts an annual memorial service on the first Sunday in July and a Remembrance Service in November. Service details can be found on our Facebook page or by contacting the Secretary.
