The Drysdale-Clifton Springs Pickleball Club’s focus is to provide a fun and inclusive environment that enriches our community, as well as reaping the physical, social and mental health benefits through playing Pickleball.
Drysdale-Clifton Springs Pickleball Club is committed to:
- having fun
- making friends
- being active
- enjoying social or competitive Pickleball.
Pickleball is a sport which combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. A paddle (over-sized table tennis bat) is used to hit a plastic ball over a net on a badminton sized court.
The net is similar to a tennis net, but slightly lower. Because of the smaller court and lighter paddles, the game is easier to play than tennis.
The rules of Pickleball are simple, making it a great introductory sport.
The doubles game is the most popular form of social play and has become extremely popular in Australia and is now played in over 70 countries.
Anyone wishing to learn or to play Pickleball are most welcome to come along.
