St Andrew's Anglican Church Corio-Norlane

Food Share

We distribute emergency Food Parcels to individuals and families in need in the Corio and surrounding community. One Food Parcel available per household per calendar month.

To access a Food Parcel:

  • Attend our Food Share (if window is shut, please knock)
  • Have your Centrelink issued card ready (health care, pension, etc.)
  • We will note down your details, and hand over a Basic food parcel, you will then have the choice to add any extras we may have on hand at the time

What goes in the parcel?

The average Food Parcel contains:

  • long life milk
  • pasta/noodles
  • pasta sauce
  • tea bags
  • baked beans
  • other tinned goods if available, such as soup or spaghetti
  • cereal.

Often the parcels will have other small items such as muesli bars, and quick meal sachets.

When collecting your parcel you'll also be able to choose from a range of fruit and vegetables, sugar, margarine, yogurts, bread, rice (if we have the stock available at the time).

You'll also get to pick 2 items from our shelf, where the contents changes often (vegemite, jelly, soup bases, toilet paper, deodorant, jam, coffee, etc).
