Point Lonsdale Civic Association

PLCA is a community organisation of interested people who may be residents, property owners and others generally committed to the continuity of Point Lonsdale as a wonderful place to live, holiday or just visit.

PLCA maintains an open opinion as to activity of Borough of Queenscliffe and the City of Greater Geelong councils, educators, sporting and community groups, development and/or planning activity.

We provide a vehicle for consultation and vehicle for the general community to voice their opinions in a way that is stronger than individual representation allows.

PLCA needs the involvement of members of the public who have a real interest in Point Lonsdale as a place to enjoy the traditional, historic, seaside village heritage it offers.

We need to preserve our environmental heritage which we see in walking tracks, teatree, accessible bay and ocean beaches including the lighthouse on the western head of Port Phillip – a nice place to be.

We seek your involvement with PLCA to allow us to work with both councils and other authorities in the area to ensure this environment is maintained.
