U3A Corio Bay

University of the Third age is a volunteer organisation that encourages retirees to continue learning to increase their knowledge base and keep their brain active in a friendly, non academic environment.

For a small annual fee participants can study a range of subjects with no educational  pre-requisites or assessments and there is no formal qualification at the end of the course - just active brains and lots of fun..  As well as the knowledge there is the social contact with like minded members of the community.

Courses are only during school hours (to accommodate 'Grandparent' duties) and are are usually for 1.5 or 2 hours duration.  You can attend 1 or all for the same annual fee.
