Mental Health Services

genU has supported people dealing with mental illness, as well as their families, friends and carers, for more than 60 years.

Personal Helpers and Mentors program (PHaMs)
A mentor will spend time helping you recognise your skills and strengths and set goals to achieve what you want. Your goals may change but your mentor will stay with you on this journey, taking the time that you need to achieve your recovery and become independent.

Outreach services
Provides assistance at home or with getting out and about. Outreach can link you to local community and government services and set up activities and outlets. We can help you build skills and strategies to make you more independent.

Respite
Offers you or your carer a chance to have a break or a holiday. We offer individual and group activities and skill development.
