The Lions Club of Geelong Corio Bay is very active within the Geelong community. We provide service to communties and indivuals both through fund raising and and club projects.
Our club consists of a wide range of people from all ages and backgrounds.
Some activities include:
- Family Fun Day at Rippleside park on Australia Day
- Air Shows Down Under car parking
- In the Cockpit sailing experience for visually impaired members of the community
- Geelong Revival
- Royal Geelong Show ticket collection.
- BBQs for fundraising
- Youth of the Year - school student public speaking
Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 200 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities.
