Geelong Archers is an archery club located in Geelong specialising in Target, Field and Clout archery since May 1960. We have been an archery club for nearly 60 years, making us one of the oldest archery clubs in Victoria.
Our Introduction to Archery courses are an essential step in joining Geelong Archers Inc. They allow for the public to undergo instruction by Archery Australia Inc Certified Instructors in how to safely shoot both recurve and compound bows, and are held over three consecutive weeks. For more information please do not hesitate to contact us via the website.
Our members shoot a large range of bows, including traditional bows, recurve bows and compound bows.
We cater for both junior and senior archers, and shoot multiple times a week in a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
We have two different grounds to shoot on:
- Jarvis Oval - Deakin University at 70 Waurn Ponds Drive in Waurn Ponds
- Abe Wood Reserve at 70 Edgerton Road in Lovely Banks.
