The Geelong Miniature Aircraft Association promotes education, construction and flying of radio controlled miniature aircraft.
We are an affiliated member of an Australia wide association, the Model Aircraft Association of Australia (MAAA).
New members are taught the basics of how an aircraft flies, and are brought to a level of 'Bronze Wings' certification before being allowed to fly 'solo'.
Some of our members have visited school and youth groups to assist in their aeronautical programs.
