Geelong Roller Derby League

Geelong Roller Derby League trains for and plays
the fast growing sport of Roller Derby. GRDL was established in March 2008 by a handful of dedicated skaters learning and running drills found online.

Over the past 6 years GRDL has travelled all over Victoria and interstate to complete against some of the best skaters in the country, recently finishing 2nd in the VIC TAS Tournament for 2013.

We are a non for profit organisation run by a group of hard working volunteers. All GRDL members are passionate and dedicated to the sport, played in accordance with the internationally recognised Women's Flat Track Derby Association's rules and guidelines.

Today, GRDL has grown to approximately 60 members comprising of referees and skaters of all levels. The league is skater owned and run, with a portion of bout proceeds being donated to help support many local charities.
