Additional information: |
The Belmont Croquet Club started its life in 1906 as part of the Belmont Recreation Club consisting of Lawn Bowls, Tennis and Croquet located on the banks of the Barwon Rivier. Due to upgrade of surrounding roadworks during 1984-85, it was necessary to relocate where croquet is now situated in the Francis Street Reserve, Belmont. This rich history created the foundation for a successful sports club, which continues to this day, promoting the awareness and joy of playing all types of croquet. |
