Active since 2002, the goal is to restore and preserve the natural amenity of Waurn Ponds Creek and its floodplain. We are doing this by:
- conserving our native plants, birds and fish
- creating a corridor of green through Geelong's southern suburbs
- connecting the local community by working together.
We collect seed, plant, weed or generally look after the amenity of the creek, while making friends with like minded people.
Seed propagation and nursery activities are on Wednesday afternoon at Barwon Water Community Nursery as necessary.
