Geelong Seniors Cricket Club Inc
We are a group of over 60s who play games of cricket against teams of the same age from other areas. Our simple aims are to have a good time participating in the game of cricket we love, and embracing the friendships that are made with teammates and rivals alike.
We play games of cricket on Sundays from October through March, as part of the Victorian Over 60 Cricket Association (VOSCA) which boasts teams across Victoria. 2012-13 will be our fourth year as part of VOSCA.
Our club is lucky to be able to use the excellent turf wicket of Stinton Oval at Queens Park in Highton for many of our home games. We are very proud that we have the best facilities of all the VOSCA teams.
VOSCA also offers the opportunity to participate in an annual national Carnival – with all standards of cricket represented – and overseas trips to play cricket against teams in England and other countries.
We continually look to encourage players aged 60 and over of all backgrounds and cricket abilities to join us. Our players are from the Geelong and surrounding areas including the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast. If you would like to join us or just get more information about us please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
