Geelong Seniors Cricket Club Inc

We are a group of over 60s and 70s who play games of cricket against teams of the same age from other areas around Victoria.  Our aim is to have a good time participating in the game of cricket we love and embracing the friendships that are made with teammates and rivals alike.

We play games of cricket on Sundays and some Wednesdays from October through March, as part of the Veterans Cricket Victoria (VCV).

Veterans cricket opens up a pathway for us to go and represent Victoria at national championships against teams from the other states. These championships are an annual event. The next one in November 2022 is scheduled to be played in the Geelong region.

We also participate in cricket carnivals in Echuca and Mildura.

Our Club is lucky to be able to use the excellent turf wicket of Stinton Oval at Queens Park in Highton for many of our home games as well as other first class grounds around the Geelong region.  We are very proud that we have the best facilities of all the VCV teams.

We continually look to encourage players aged 60 and over of all backgrounds and cricket abilities to join us.  Our players are from the Geelong and surrounding areas including the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast.
